Woodland jumped out to a 22-13 lead after the first quarter and held off Jonesport-Beals for a 49-42 girls basketball win on Tuesday night.
Karleigh Smith led the way for the Lady Dragons with 17 (6-6 FT) points, eight steals, five rebounds, and four assists. Hannah Lockenwitz added 14 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Brooke Smith chipped in with nine points, six rebounds, and two assists. Woodland (5-2) will host Sumner on Thursday.
Mia Mills had 10 points to lead the Lady Royals, Rachel Crowley added nine points, and Riley Balicki had eight points and 10 rebounds. Jonesport-Beals (2-8) will host Shead on Friday.
