Machias had three players finish in double figures in a 53-46 girls basketball win over Woodland on Tuesday night. The Lady Dragons held a 19-18 halftime lead, the game had 13 lead changes.
Jaida Case had 21 points to lead the way for the Lady Bulldogs. Kristin Grant had 13 points (3 three pointers), Skyler Tinker recorded 11 points and 12 rebounds. Machias (10-1) is scheduled to play at Calais on Thursday.
Karleigh Smith had 20 points (11-12 FT) to lead the Lady Dragons. Brooke Smith added 10 points and six rebounds. Autumn Honas pulled down 11 rebounds. Woodland (7-5) is scheduled to host Mattanawcook on Thursday.
