Former Gorham High School standout MacKenzie Holmes is having yet another great season in her senior year with the Indiana Hoosiers.
Holmes went for 26 points on 11-13 shooting on Thursday night, as #6 Indiana took down #2 Ohio State 78-65 at Assembly Hall in Bloomington. The center is averaging 22.1 points per game (seventh in nation), 8.1 rebounds, 1.7 blocks, and is also shooting a career best 68.2% from the floor for the 19-1 Hoosiers.
Holmes had a very successful high school career with the Gorham Rams that culminated in winning the Gatorade Player of the Year in her senior season of 2018-2019. That season she averaged 30.1 points, 16.7 rebounds, 3.9 blocks, and 2.3 steals.
