Mattanawcook jumped out to a 27-12 halftime lead and held on for a 49-38 girls basketball win over Woodland in Baileyville on Friday night.
Addison Cyr scored a game high 23 points and pulled down nine rebounds to lead the Lady Lynx. Lily Wotton added 11 points. Mattanawcook (8-4) will host PVHS this afternoon.
Karleigh Smith had 22 points and five steals to lead the Lady Dragons. Woodland (7-6) will host Sumner this afternoon. Mattanawcook out rebounded Woodland 32-17.
