Sophomore Cole Martin from the University of Maine-Augusta capped off a fantastic sophomore season on Friday in the USCAA National Championship of indoor track and field.
Martin won the USCAA National Championship in pole vaulting in the event that was held at American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. Martin also won the Yankee Small College Conference Championship in the pole vault. A native of New Jersey, Martin back in February set a school record reaching 3.80 m (12′ 5.5″) in a meet in Boston.
