The America East Tournament field is now officially set at Binghamton University in Vestal, New York beginning on Wednesday after teams played their final regular season games on Saturday. The game times have also been released by the league.
Maine (19-5 in conference play) won the regular season title for a second straight year and will once again be the #1 seed. Binghamton is the host school and also the defending champions. Here is the full schedule- and note the first round is single elimination, while the double elimination format begins when games get underway on Thursday-
Wednesday, May 24 (single elimination)
G1- #4 Bryant University (26-23) vs #5 UMass-Lowell (19-33)- 1 p.m. (loser eliminated)
G2- #3 Binghamton (26-21) vs #6 NJIT (22-30)- 5 p.m. (loser eliminated)
Thursday, May 25 (begins double elimination)
G3- #1 Maine (29-19) vs lowest seed winner of G1/G2- 11 a.m.
G4- #2 UMBC (29-25) vs highest seed winner of G1/G2- 3 p.m.
G5- Loser G3 vs Loser G4- 7 p.m.
Friday, May 26
G6- Winner G3 vs Winner G4- 1 p.m.
G7- Winner G5 vs Loser G6- 5 p.m.
Saturday, May 27 Championship
G8- Winner G6 vs Winner G7- 1 p.m.
G9- if necessary game (45 minutes after the conclusion of G8)
