Gabby Gentle scored two goals to lead the Houlton Lady Shires to a season opening 3-1 girls soccer win over George Stevens on Friday afternoon. Ella McCarthy added one goal, while Mylee Sylvia had two assists on the night. The Eagles goal was scored by Sophie Landrum.
