According to National High School Basketball Insider Samad Hines on Twitter, Cooper and Ace Flagg and their high school prep team Montverde Academy (Florida) are expected to come to Maine to play two games in early January.
Cooper, the native of Newport, is the #1 prospect in the 2024 class. Him and his twin brother Ace led Nokomis to their first basketball state championship in their only season with the Warriors in the 2021-22 campaign before transferring. There was no word on who they would be playing, but the dates will be January 5th and 6th in Portland at the Cross Insurance Arena or the Expo.
