The late Stacey Porrini Clingan, a former three time all-conference women’s basketball player at the University of Maine, will be inducted into the UMaine Sports Hall of Fame this coming Friday. The other inductees include James Boylen (men’s basketball), Cal Ingraham (men’s hockey), Annabelle Hamilton (field hockey), Alexis Soulharis (softball), and Anthony Wright (football). The 1959-60 men’s basketball team along with the 1951 and 1961 football squads will also land into the Hall of Fame in the event being held at Jeff’s Catering in Brewer.
