Chris Lessner clinched his third Eastern Maine Sports high school football expert picks title last Saturday when Kennebunk defeated Lawrence in the Class B State Championship game. Lessner, who is the only other multi-time winner in the contest, held off six-time champion Bob Beathem by two games and Andrew Hart by three to win for the first time since 2019. Ethan Snow and Bill Libby rounded out the top five. The other title by Lessner was in 2016. Beathem won in 2012, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2021. Other winners include Frank Johnson who won the first one in 2011, Nick Coit in 2013, and Marc Calnan in 2022.
