Donnie Marzoll and Clay Crossman both scored in double figures on Thursday night, as the Washington Academy Raiders cruised to a 54-34 Class B North boys basketball road win over the Bucksport Golden Bucks.
Marzoll had 19 points and Crossman had 16, as WA improved to 3-2 on the season. Ben Griffin added seven points, and Max Cates chipped in six for the Raiders. Caden Blackwood had 13 points, and Colin McDougal along with Evan Donnell scored seven points a piece for Bucksport in the loss. The Golden Bucks fall to 1-2.
Both teams are back in action on Saturday as Washington Academy hosts Hermon, and Bucksport will host Orono.
