Angel Valencia made 7 three pointers and scored 25 points to lead Sumner boys basketball to a 77-61 win over Searsport in a game played at Sumner High School on Thursday night.
Valencia scored 14 in the first half as the Tigers held a 41-24 halftime advantage. Isaiah Rivers also put in 14 points in the first half and finished with 16. Connor Eastman added 15. Sumner (2-3) will play at Calais on December 28th.
Landon Economy led the Vikings with 18 points (4 three pointers), while Tim Smith added 14. Searsport (0-3) will next play on December 28th at the Cross Insurance Center against Bangor Christian.
