Connor Eastman and Bryson Parritt each scored seven second quarter points, as the Sumner Tigers built a 28-19 halftime lead and went on to defeat Narraguagus 56-46 on Saturday afternoon.
Sumner outscored the Knights 16-10 in the third quarter. The Tigers secured the win by going 8-14 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter.
Eastman scored a game high 18 points to lead the Tigers. Parritt put in 12, while Logan Crowley added 11, and Angel Valencia chipped in with eight. Sumner (3-6) will host Central on Tuesday.
Kevin Alley scored a team high 12 points for the Knights. Micah Look had nine points (all on 3-pointers). Narraguagus (4-4) will host Jonesport-Beals also on Tuesday.
