The University of Maine, UMaine Athletics, and the UMaine system announced Tuesday $80 million in financial support from the Harold Alfond Foundation towards facility upgrades to benefit all 17 Black Bear varsity programs.
On Wednesday, UMaine Athletics also revealed that 16 of the 17 varsity programs achieved a GPA of 3.0 or better, and a cumulative score of 3.35 for the fall term.
The University of Maine football team along with head coach Jordan Stevens also announced their 2024 opponents and game dates/locations on Wednesday.
