Husson men’s basketball and Maine Maritime Academy women’s basketball both earned the #1 seed in the North Atlantic Conference East Division, and will host the NAC East Divisional Tournament coming up this weekend.
Husson completed its divisional slate with an 10-2 record to secure the top seed in the East. The Eagles will host East #4 seed Maine Maritime Academy in Friday’s first Divisional Quarterfinal matchup at Newman Gymnasium in Bangor. East #2 seed UMaine-Farmington will travel to Bangor to square off against East #3 seed UMaine-Presque Isle in the second East Quarterfinal game Friday night.
Quarterfinal winners in each division will meet in the Divisional Semifinals on Saturday, February 17, at 2:00 p.m. The two divisional winners will meet for the championship on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the site of the West Division winner. The NAC Champion will move on to play in the 2024 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship.
