Husson is seeking their sixth straight North Atlantic Conference Title, and will open the season this coming Saturday when they take on Bethany Lutheran College at 9:30 a.m. and the University of Mount Union immediately after at 11:30 in Clermont, Florida. The Eagles will play 12 games in the Sunshine State, before returning back East on March 16 for a doubleheader with Simmons University in Boston. The home openers are also in non-conference play on Saturday, March 23 at O’Keefe Field against the University of New England (doubleheader), before opening NAC action also at home the following Friday on March 29 vs Vermont State University Lyndon (doubleheader). The first road action in league play is a doubleheader at UMaine-Farmington April 6. Husson has won every NAC Championship that has been played since 2018, excluding the COVID year where there was no tournament (2020). To add to that, they have represented the conference an astonishing 11 times in the NCAA III Tournament since 2009 (14 full seasons played).
Husson is coming off a 30-14-1 record last season (10-0 in NAC, 11-0-1 at home). The last three years they have won at least one game in the NCAA Tournament. In 2021, they hosted a regional in Bangor and won two games before losing a 1-0 heartbreaker to Tufts University in the regional final. The Eagles have gone 43-3-1 in home games since the beginning of that great run in the 2021 season, where they finished their best year in program history at 29-3 overall.
