After finishing up a great career with Husson University softball this spring that included another North Atlantic Conference Title and NCAA Tournament appearance, third baseman Kenzie Dore has earned one of the top end of the season honors from the league.
As announced on Tuesday, Dore (Brewer High School) was named NAC Woman of the Year. The actual award will be given to her during the 2024-25 academic year. She becomes the first Husson athlete to ever win Woman of the Year. For her career, Dore hit .418 (176-421) with 115 runs, 41 doubles, 14 triples, 19 home runs, 137 RBI, and 20 stolen bases. She graduated in May as the Eagles all-time RBI leader and is tied for the programs career homeruns mark.
The NAC also announced that senior Nick Logan from SUNY Cobleskill was chosen as Man of the Year. Logan competed in cross country and track and field at the school.
