After a great career at Husson University with the softball program, Holden native and former Brewer High School standout Kenzie Dore is being dawned with yet another high honor.
Dore was named Division III Commissioners Association/Chi Alpha Sigma Regional Student-Athlete of the Year for Region 1. This comes after Dore was named North Atlantic Conference Woman of the Year recently. Both awards will be given to the former Eagles third baseman during a Husson home football game in Bangor on September 14.
Dore help lead Husson to a 37-6 record (12-0 in NAC) this past spring, winning a sixth straight conference title and hosting an NCAA Regional in Bangor. She batted .500 with eight homeruns and 42 runs batted in to go along with a 1.014% slugging percentage and had a .571 on base percentage in her final season with the Eagles.
