With just two weeks left in the NFL regular season and our Eastern Maine Sports pick’em contest, Rich Rotella took a one game lead over Gabe Nason in Week 16. Rotella (11-5) edged out Nason (10-6), while Chris Lessner (10-6) sits three behind Nason and four off the top spot. Fourth place through seventh place is very close as well, separated by just four games. Fred Yeo took Week 16 with a 12-4 record to take that fourth position.
In Week 17, Christmas Day games on Wednesday will have the Kansas City Chiefs in Pittsburgh to face the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens traveling to Houston to battle the Texans. There will also be three games on Saturday as the Chargers visit New England, the Denver Broncos are in Cincinnati to take on the Bengals as both teams are battling for an AFC Wildcard Playoff spot, and the LA Rams host the Arizona Cardinals as the Rams try to stay in first place in the NFC West. Other important games on Sunday for current playoff teams looking for positioning in seeding all in the NFC has the Green Bay Packers in Minnesota against the Vikings, Dallas travels to Philadelphia to clash with the Eagles, and Atlanta is in Washington. On Monday night to cap off the week, the Detroit Lions are in San Francisco to tussle with the 49ers.
