It’s going to be an exciting final month to see who is gonna become the 2024 Eastern Maine Sports NFL picks expert. Gabe Nason (15-1) took over first place overall again in Week 17 from Rich Rotella (13-3) by one game, with just one final week left in the regular season and the playoffs remaining. Third place (Chris Lessner) and last place (tied between Jeff Hoak and Anthony DelMonaco) is also only separated by a total of five wins with plenty of games left to pick, with Marc Calnan and Fred Yeo both sitting one game behind Lessner for third.
In Week 18 some things are still to be decided including the AFC North Title with Cleveland visiting Baltimore, and Cincinnati in Pittsburgh taking on the Steelers with both games on Saturday. A Ravens win clinches the division. The Bengals are also still alive for a playoff spot. The Denver Broncos with a win will make the postseason, as they host the reigning two-time Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs who already sewed up a berth and the #1 seed in the AFC and aren’t expected to play many starters. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers can clinch the NFC South with a win at home over the New Orleans Saints, while a Tampa loss and a win by Atlanta over Carolina would put the Falcons in the playoffs. The Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions end the regular season on Sunday night in Detroit with the winner grabbing the NFC North Title and the #1 seed. Here is the Week 18 schedule of the games we’re picking, and below that is our season standings, along with last weeks results/season record, and this weeks projections.
