The Maine men’s hockey team has landed their first player out of the transfer portal on Wednesday. The Black Bears are picking up forward Max Scott from Brown University who will be entering his junior season this fall. Max is the younger brother of Harrison Scott, who put up a total of 62 points (33 goals, 29 assists) in his two years in Orono after transferring from Bentley University. Harrison Scott has since signed an entry-level contract with the Dallas Stars. Max Scott put up 26 points (12 goals, 14 assists) with Brown this past season in 32 games, and has a total of 44 points in 54 collegiate games.
