Swayman reaches 100 career NHL wins, in also setting a collegiate record

With the Boston Bruins 5-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes at TD Garden on Saturday night, former University of Maine goaltender Jeremy Swayman reached 100 career NHL wins and at the same time set a record for his former school.

UMaine becomes the first college hockey team to produce five goalies who have reached at least 100 wins at the NHL level. Swayman joins former Black Bear netminders Jimmy Howard (246 NHL wins), Ben Bishop (222), Mike Dunham (141), and Garth Snow (135).
