Departed Maine men’s hockey players Lynden Breen, Nolan Renwick, and Taylor Makar all made their pro debuts on Saturday night.
Renwick (AHL-Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins) and Makar (AHL-Colorado Eagles) didn’t record any points in their first game. Wilkes-Barre fell to the Cleveland Monsters 3-0, and Colorado topped the San Jose Barracudas 3-1. Breen had an assist for the South Carolina Stingrays (ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals) in their 5-1 victory over the Orlando Solar Bears.
