Husson Eagles sophomore Matt Holmes (Bangor) earned NAC player of the week. Eagles senior Matt Wallingford (Leavitt) earned conference pitcher of the week.
Holmes hit .588 (10-17) with six runs, two doubles, a triple, two home runs and eight RBI in the five games. Wallingford pitched six, one-hit innings against UMaine-Presque Isle, not allowing a walk and striking out 10 batters. Full Story
