LEWISTON, Maine (April 7, 2025) – The Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic board has announced the official rosters for the East and West teams that will compete in the 2025 Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic on July 19, 2025 at Lewiston High School. This year the organization has set a goal to donate $150,000 to Shriners Children’s and become the top football game fundraiser in the country. The rosters include the top senior high school athletes from across the state.
The Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic also announced today new plans for the 35th anniversary, including all electronic ticketing, a new Football Feztival before the game and a new website at MaineShrineLobsterBowl.com. The website features player photos and bios, a history of the game, and more. The website also allows anyone to make a general donation or allocate their donation to a player and their fundraising goal. Each participant is required to raise at least $500 to participate in the game. Proceeds from the game benefit Shriners Children’s.
The West team coached by Aaron Filieo from South Portland High School includes 46 players and 25 cheerleaders. It includes Jamier Rose, winner of the 2025 Fitzpatrick Award, as the top senior football player in the state. The roster also includes Henry Mahoney from Thornton Academy who was named the winner of the 2025 Frank J. Gaziano Offensive Lineman Award earlier this year.
The East team, coached by Kyle Gallant from Hermon High School includes 46 players and 24 cheerleaders from across the state. The roster includes Joseph Dube of Lewiston High School is the Frank J. Gaziano Memorial Defensive Lineman Award winner for his accomplishments on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.

The Maine Shrine Lobster Bowl Classic is an All-Star football game for high school seniors. Each year, the game raises thousands of dollars for Shriners Children’s as players, cheerleaders and coaches raise funds by reaching out to family, friends and businesses to support the game and raise money for a great cause.
