The Boston Bruins finished off a disappointing 2024-25 season on Tuesday night with a 5-4 overtime home loss to the New Jersey Devils at TD Garden.
David Pastrnak had a goal and an assist, John Farinacci scored in his NHL debut, and Nikita Zadorov had two assists in the losing cause for Boston (33-39-10) who will miss the NHL playoffs for the first time since the 2015-16 season. Jeremy Swayman made 21 saves in net.
