McKade Robertson pitched six strong innings to lead Narraguagus baseball to a 5-4 win over Woodland in the regular season opener. Robertson allowed four runs on eight hits and one walk, while striking out 11.
Ben Thompson locked down the win, striking out three in the seventh inning. Robertson scored two runs from the leadoff spot for the Knights. Thompson had two hits.
Micah Cheesebrough had three hits and two RBI for the Dragons. Liam O’Neill allowed four runs (one earned) on three hits and three walks, while striking out two in three innings. Cheesebrough pitched the final four innings.
