University of Maine women’s basketball junior guard and former Skowhegan High School standout Jaycie Christopher is transferring to the University of Southern Maine to continue her career.
Christopher won Miss Maine Basketball at Skowhegan in 2022. Her senior season she was also named Gatorade Player of the Year and Miss Maine Softball. She is only girl to win both Miss Maine Basketball and Miss Maine Softball. In her three years in Orono she averaged 15.1 minutes per game (one career start), while putting in 3.0 points per contest and grabbing 1.5 rebounds. Christopher played in a total of 82 games for the Black Bears.
