Logan Crowley pitched 6.2 shutout innings to lead Summer to a 3-0 baseball win over Machias at the University of Maine on Wednesday afternoon.
Crowley allowed four hits, walked two, while striking out 13. Cole Faulkingham struck out the three final batters to lock down the win.
Crowley had a double and two RBI to power the Tigers offense. Shawn Green also had one RBI. Mickey Fitzsimmons pitched a strong game for the Bulldogs, as he allowed three runs on four hits and no walks, while striking out 10.
