Sea Dogs snap four game losing streak, rallying past Reading

The Sea Dogs scored five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning on Tuesday night at Delta Dental Park in Portland, in rallying past the Reading Fightin’ Phils 9-8 to snap a four game losing streak.

Blaze Jordan provided the game winning single, as Portland (8-6) scored all five of them runs in the eighth with two outs. Jordan, Mikey Romero, Jhostynxon Garcia, and Luis Ravelo all had two hits each with Garcia, Ravelo, and Karson Simas also driving in two runs a piece. Reidis Sena (1-0) pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win in relief. The Sea Dogs and Fightin’ Phils continue their six game series on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
