Foxcroft exploded for 13 runs in the second inning and went on to defeat PCHS 20-2 in four innings in a softball game at Guilford on Friday afternoon.
Lili Bisson and Addison Menz set the tone from the top of the order. They each went 3-3 with three RBI. Bisson had a double and stolen base. Menz had three stolen bases. Aspen Perry had two hits, including a triple and three RBI. Ava Turner scored three runs, while Perry, Grace Green, Jenna Hartford, and Alexis Burdin each scored three runs.
Bisson allowed two runs (one earned) on one walk and four hits, and she struck out nine. Foxcroft (2-0) will host Bucksport on Monday.
Alivia Koscielny and Emery-Jo Chambers each scored a run for the Pirates. Reese Starbird had a double and RBI. Ava Edes reached base twice. PCHS (0-2) will host Greenville in a doubleheader on Wednesday.
