Kaiden Morin hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the 15th inning to lift Brewer baseball to a 4-3 win over Ellsworth on Tuesday evening.
The Witches evened the score at three in the bottom of the seventh inning. The teams played seven innings with neither team scoring before the dramatics from Morin to give Brewer the win.
Morin reached base five times, and Logan Littlefield had two RBI for the Witches. Logan Littlefield pitched four innings, allowing one unearned run and struck out seven. Blake Littlefield also pitched four innings, striking out nine. Ayden Barnard fired five scoreless innings, and Aiden McCue picked up the win with two shutout innings.
Kyle Kenny, Dawson Curtis, and Jackson Berry had two hits each for the Eagles.
