The Husson women’s lacrosse team had their season ended on Saturday afternoon in falling to William Smith College 25-2 in a first round NCAA Tournament game in Amherst, Massachusetts.
In the loss, junior Averi Baker (Hall-Dale) set the new program record for goals scored in a career. Baker scored one of the two tallies in the Husson defeat, and now has 131 goals passing the previous record that was held by her head coach Amanda Deshaies who had 130 from 2015-2018. The North Atlantic Conference Champion Eagles end their season with a record of 7-8.
