Haley Sirois pitched a one hitter with 12 strikeouts to lead Old Town softball to an 8-0 win over Orono on Tuesday afternoon.
Sirois didn’t issue a walk, she threw 94 pitches (67 strikes). Natalie Fournier, Lindsay Mockler, and Molly Albert powered the Coyote offense with two hits each. Fournier had a triple and scored three runs from the leadoff spot. Albert had two hits and two RBI. Mockler had two hits, one run scored, and one RBI.
Severance struck out 12 in a complete game effort for the Red Riots. She also had the only hit for Orono.
