The Washington Academy Raiders softball team held on for a 7-6 win at Central on Thursday afternoon.
Avery Libby and Lily Hennessey had two hits each for the Raiders. Meadow Rohde and Grace Dennison had two RBI each. Dennison and Bella Cirone each reached base three times. Libby, Cirone, and Hennessey scored two runs each. Cirone allowed six runs (two earned) on five hits and four walks, while striking out 11.
Maddie Frost had two hits, including a double for the Red Devils. Kenzie Graham allowed seven runs (four earned) on seven hits and six walks, while striking out nine.
