Natalie Simpson pitched a two hitter with 12 strikeouts to lead Bucksport softball to a 2-0 win over MDI on Friday afternoon.
Marina Keene and Emma Clement each had two hits for the Bucks. Simpson hit a double, Clement and Addison Harvey each had one RBI. Simpson only allowed two base runners. Bucksport scored both of their runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Taylor Grant allowed two runs (one earned) on seven hits and one walk, while striking out nine for the Trojans.
