Kayleigh Dunton had four RBI, while Kaitlyn Cookson drove home three to lead Dexter softball to a 16-6 win over Searsport on Monday afternoon.
Searsport jumped out a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning. The Tigers responded with 16 unanswered runs before Searsport scored four in the fifth inning.
Desiree Adams walked four times, scored four runs, and had two RBI. Dunton reached base four times with two hits and two walks. Skyler Gully had two hits, three runs scored, and two RBI. Alexandra Flagg reached base three times, scored three runs, and had two RBI. Kallie Stone earned the win in the circle allowing six runs (five earned) on three hits and nine walks, while striking out six.
Baileigh Bagley hit a grand slam for the Vikings. Meta Wiseman reached base three times, while Rayna Short and Elise Colby each reached base twice. Willow Law scored two runs.
