Husson University announced on Monday that they’ve hired alum Amanda Nelson (’97) as their new Athletic Director. Her position will take effect officially on June 1.
Nelson played basketball and softball for the Eagles as a student/athlete, and returns to Bangor after serving as an AD for Del Norte High School in San Diego, California.
Nelson takes over for John Sutyiak, who was hired in 2023 and recently become the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation at the University of Southern Maine.
