Old Town softball sweeps Presque Isle

Natalie Fournier, Emily Wheeler, Molly Albert, and Brianna Trimm each had two RBI to lead Old Town softball to a 10-5 win over Presque Isle in game one of a doubleheader on Monday afternoon. Fournier scored three runs, while Wheeler and Taylor Madden each scored twice. Arabel Milligan went the complete game in the circle to get the victory allowing five runs on nine hits with two walks and six strikeouts. Peyton Boinske had three hits, while Sam Edgecomb and Kolbie Langley had two hits and one RBI each for the Wildcats.

Ava Brasslett and Albert each had three hits and two RBI for the Coyotes in game two to complete the sweep in an 8-0 win as part of an 12-hit attack. Haley Sirois and Albert combined for a four-hit shutout in the circle for Old Town, with Sirois picking up the victory.
