Lakyn Varnum had three hits, including a double and four RBI to lead Bucksport softball to a 16-1 win over Dexter on Tuesday afternoon.
Lexi Raymond had three hits, two runs scored, and two RBI. Marina Keene, Jetta Shook, and Natalie Simpson had two hits each. Shook had a double and three RBI. Keene had a double and two RBI. Emma Clement scored two runs and had two RBI. Keene, Shook, Alivia Shute, Addison Harvey, Brie Rotella, and Varnum scored two runs each.
Simpson allowed one unearned run on one hit, she didn’t issue any walks and struck out 10. Desiree Adams scored the Tigers run and had their lone hit. Kallie Stone had the RBI.
