Andrea Crocker and Jill Severance each drove in two runs, and Severance was once again strong in the circle on Wednesday in leading Orono softball to an 11-1 mercy rule win (five innings) over Central.
Severance had two of the seven hits including a double for the Red Riots. Crocker, Abby Haney, Isabella Pardilla, and Delaney Terrill each scored two runs. Severance gave up no earned runs on three hits, didn’t walk anyone, and struckout nine. Madelynn Frost had a hit and scored the lone run for the Red Devils. Jaelyn Spencer allowed seven earned runs on seven hits with seven walks and three strikeouts in the circle for Central.
