Rienhardt leads Dexter baseball to win over Penquis

Willis Rienhardt had a double, triple, and two RBI to lead Dexter to an 11-1 baseball win over Penquis on Thursday afternoon. The Patriots took an 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Dexter responded with 11 unanswered runs.

Noah Kain reached base three times, including two hits, three runs scored, and one RBI for the Tigers. Kody Kimball had two RBI. Gaige Tracy and Tyler Gould scored two runs each. Brady Gaw and Kimball combined to pitch three scoreless innings of relief. The duo didn’t allow a hit and struck out seven. Brodie Lovejoy reached base twice and had one RBI for the Patriots.
