In the opening round of the NCAA East Regional Track and Field meet on Thursday in Jacksonville, former Orono High School standout and UNH freshman Ruth White set a personal best in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 32:50.17. That was only five seconds off a top three finish. The sixth place position qualifies White for the national meet in June in Eugene, Oregon
