Hall-Dale scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning on Friday, and would defeat Lisbon 5-2 in Class C South softball action.
In a matchup of the two of the top five teams in that region, the host Greyhounds (9-4) snapped a scoreless tie on a RBI double by MacKenzie Eaton and a RBI single by Sophia Bowie in the fourth inning for a 2-0 lead. The Bulldogs (12-2) put together their rally in the seventh on a pair of two-run singles by Lucy Gray and Torie Tibbetts, and a RBI double by Genevieve Cicarelli to pick up the road victory. Both pitchers went the distance in the circle, with Eaton taking the loss for Lisbon allowing five runs on eight hits with five walks and six strikeouts. Gray gave up two runs on three hits with two walks and six strikeouts for Hall-Dale. Tibbetts, Cicarelli, and Claire Kapinos had two hits each for the Bulldogs.
