Graham spins a no-hitter, as Central softball rolls past PCHS

Mackenzie Graham fired a no-hitter on Wednesday afternoon, as the Central softball team rolled to an 18-0 four inning win over PCHS in a game played at Guilford.

Graham walked three and struckout four in the victory. As she was doing her thing in the circle, her offense helped her out. Four different Red Devils had mutiple RBI, led by Aili Spack who had two hits and four runs driven in that included two doubles. Madeline Cox had three hits and three RBI, and Jordyn Curtis had two hits and two driven in. Kourtney Kenneson also added two RBI, while Elizabeth Lugdon, Madelynn Frost, Cox, and Spack scored three runs each. They also stole seven bases as a team led by two a piece from Bayleigh Irish and Cox. Central (8-7) was playing their second game of the afternoon at Dexter in their regular season finale at the time of this recap. Macie Littlefield drew a pair of walks, while Reese Starbird took the loss in the circle for the Pirates who end their regular season at 4-12.
