Husson baseball puts five players on CSC Academic All-District Team; Eagles softball announces Sophia Lynch as part of 2025 recruiting class

Five Husson baseball players were announced to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team on Tuesday. Chosen were graduate students Jackson Curtis (Ellsworth), Akira Warren (Hall-Dale), and Alex Smith, while senior Tanner Evans (Old Town) along with junior Hunter Curtis (Ellsworth) were also selected. Jackson Curtis and Warren were also named as finalists for a spot on the CSC Academic All-American Team. The Academic All-District and Academic All-American Teams recognize the top student/athletes for their performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

Also on Tuesday, Husson softball announced that Sophia Lynch (Bangor High School) had committed to the program as part of the 2025 recruiting class. Lynch has played four years of varsity for the Rams, where she recorded her 100th career hit this season and was previously the Penobscot Valley Conference Player of the Year last spring.
