Parker Morin reached base three times, with two hits, including a homer, and three RBI to lead Capital Area to a 13-2 win over Windham in a Senior League American Legion season opener on Monday.
Connor Williams had two hits and three RBI for Capital Area, Trent Collin also had two hits and two runs scored. Max Tibbetts pitched the first two innings, not allowing any runs. Collin allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk with four strike outs in four innings of relief.
Mason Rutman had both hits for Windham.
