James Trott reached base four times with two hits, two runs scored, and three RBI to lead the Old Town/Orono Twins to a 13-11 win over the Central Maine Hurricanes in a Senior League American Legion season opener for both teams at Mansfield Stadium on Monday night.
Jack Brawn had three hits, two runs scored, and two RBI for the Twins. Bradley Dill and Sal Wise had two hits each. Avery Jordan reached base three times and scored two runs. Isaac Ritchie earned the win in the mound, Trott got the save.
Cameron Dostie reached base four times and went 3-3 for the Hurricanes. Dostie, Michael Hamlin, and Ben Foster had two RBI each. Ty Bernier and Hamlin had two hits each.
