Old Town/Orono comes back from big deficit late, defeats Trenton in nine innings in a Junior Legion baseball game

The Old Town/Orono Twins scored eight runs with two outs in the top of the seventh inning Wednesday evening to take the lead, and would end up defeating the Trenton Acadians 10-9 in nine innings in a Junior Legion baseball game played at Ellsworth High School.

Jack McPherson singled in the game winning run in the ninth inning for the Twins, capping an incredible comeback victory. Carter Osnoe had two hits and three RBI for Old Town/Orono, while McPherson finished with three hits and two RBI. Osnoe also scored three runs. Wyatt Young had three RBI for Trenton. Coleman Welch, Joey Beal, and Wyl Renwick added two hits each. Beal also drove in two runs and scored twice.
