Maine men’s hockey welcomes 13 newcomers for the 2025-26 season

The University of Maine men’s ice hockey team is welcoming 13 new players to the program for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Maine, who went 24-8-6 (13-5-6 in Hockey East) in 2024-25, is coming off their first postseason league championship in 20 years. The Black Bears made the NCAA Tournament for a second straight year (20th overall), falling to Penn State 5-1 in the opening round in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
